Our story
Since opening its doors in 2011, this unique Bar on the outskirts of Hopefield, has become somewhat of a landmark on the West Coast.

Route 45 Waterhole is filled to the brim with exciting colours, friendly faces and a variety of activities for the whole family.

This wonderful bar, nursery, petting zoo, camping site and 4x4 track, promotes a healthy, organic lifestyle and are passionate about recycling, upcycling and caring for the environment as well as the local community.

On the weekends, children play outside on the lawn while parents catch up over coffees in the garden. On windy afternoons, customers retreat indoors to savour the warmth from the Route 45's indoor fireplace.
The rustic shop stocks wholesome farm products and hand made crafts – everything from naturally grown vegetables and free range eggs, to the best selection of locally sourced preserves, jams and baked treats.
