Route 45 Waterhole is situated 5km out of Hopefield on the R45 in the direction of Vredenburg/Langebaan. It is opposite Rainbow Chickens. The R45 is the main road from Malmesbury to Vredenburg. The farm is about 120km from the hustle and bustle of Cape Town. Other nearby towns include Velddrif, Langebaan and Paternoster.
